3-State RFID Cable Seal

The 3-State RFID Cable Seal provides flexible, tamper-evident cargo protection with electronic identification of three seal conditions: open, locked and tampered. Its high-tensile steel cable and integrated UHF RFID technology make it suitable for containers, trucks, trailers and other valuable cargo.

Know Whether the Seal Is Open, Locked or Tampered

The 3-State RFID Cable Seal combines a strong physical cable seal with intelligent UHF RFID technology.

Unlike a standard numbered seal, the embedded RFID system can indicate three different seal states: open, correctly locked or tampered. When scanned with a compatible RFID reader, authorised personnel can verify the seal’s identity and condition without relying only on a visual inspection.

This provides an additional layer of security and helps logistics teams identify potential interference more quickly.

Flexible Security for Different Locking Points

The adjustable steel cable can be passed through container doors, trailer locking points, cages, equipment or other cargo-security fixtures.

Once the cable has been pulled through the locking chamber, the seal creates a secure, single-use connection. The non-preformed cable is designed to show visible signs when it has been cut or interfered with.

Cable lengths can be customised for different applications, providing greater flexibility than a fixed bolt seal.

Faster Verification and Improved Traceability

Each seal has a unique RFID identity and can be scanned using a compatible UHF RFID reader. This supports faster inspections, automated data capture and more accurate seal records.

The seal can also be laser marked with serial numbers, business information or other identifiers, subject to order requirements.
