These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of ShockWatch Africa’s Website, located at shockwatchafrica.com.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of za. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

 

Returns and Cancellations

General Acceptance
All products are deemed to comply with the order and accepted by the Buyer unless the Buyer notifies the Seller in writing within seven (7) days of delivery of any defect, shortage, or non-conformance. Failure to notify within this period will constitute full acceptance of the goods.

Warranty Returns
If a product is defective or fails to meet the Seller’s published specifications, the Buyer may return the product within twelve (12) months from the date of delivery, provided that:

  • The Buyer notifies the Seller in writing of the defect before the end of the warranty period.
  • The product has not been altered, modified, misused, or subjected to improper installation or maintenance.
  • The Seller, at its sole discretion, will either:
    (a) repair the product,
    (b) replace the product with a new or reconditioned product, or
    (c) refund the purchase price paid.
    The warranty period does not recommence upon repair or replacement.

Non-Warranty Returns
Products may only be returned for reasons other than warranty on the following conditions:

  • The product must be new, unused, and in resaleable condition.
  • Written authorisation must be obtained from the Seller prior to return.
  • The return must be received by the Seller within thirty (30) days of delivery.
  • The Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and risks.
  • A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price will apply.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging. If packaging is not reusable, an additional packaging replacement fee may be charged.

Exclusions
The following items may not be returned:

  • Custom-made or specially manufactured products.
  • Products that have been installed, altered, or used.
  • Products not purchased directly from the Seller.

Order Cancellations

  • Standard product orders may be cancelled without charge only if notice is given in writing at least ten (10) days before shipment.
  • Orders cancelled less than ten (10) days before shipment may be subject to cancellation charges.
  • Custom product orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced. If cancellation is permitted, the Buyer agrees to pay a cancellation fee of at least 25% of the order value, subject to a minimum of R5,000.

Risk and Costs of Return
The Buyer bears the risk and cost of shipping any returned goods. Goods returned without prior written authorisation will be refused and returned to the Buyer at their expense.
